I've decided to start a fashion-esque blog, in which I'll be posting photographs of my outfits for the day, pictures I find inspiring, clothing items I will have posted on my online shop (The Betties), and short blurbs about what I've been doing recently. I'll try to keep it interesting :)
For the next two weeks, I'll be staying with my "cousin" (who's actually my aunt, though she's only 15) in Hilton Head, South Carolina while her parents are away on vacation. Today we spent the whole day on the beach, floating on rafts in the middle of the ocean while trying to keep our Cosmo magazine dry (an unsuccessful task, might I add). The water was a brisk high 70s-ish, which, coupled with the humid 91 degree tropical weather, wasn't as refreshing as it sounds.
Despite the crushingly humid weather, we did manage to get a pretty decent picture of my outfit for the day: high-waisted gingham capris, paired with a plaid top that ties at the navel, and black Keds.
